The Hotel Federation of Rajasthan played a major role in the success of Kota Mahotsav, 2024. Held on 23rd-25th December, the Mahotsav welcomed a large number of visitors and showcased folk art.
Various units of Hotel Federation of Rajasthan took part in the event to promote tourism and local economy in their own regions. The Sawai Madhopur unit also participated in the Mahotsav to promote tourism in the Hadoti region.

Sawai Madhopur Unit Attended a Meeting of HFR for Kota Mahotsav
The HFR meeting, chaired by divisional president Ashok Maheshwari, took place at a hotel in the Cantonment area and focused on collaboration and investment opportunities.
The federation brought the state’s different regions together to discuss future tourism plans for Rajasthan, including participation in Kota Mahotsav.
The divisional general secretary, Sandeep Padia, and secretary, Kaushal Bansal, invited the district president of Sawai Madhopur – Haji Ahtashamuddin and his team, as well as investor Nirmal Singh Rathore from the region.
Both promised wholehearted contribution from Sawai Madhopur for the Kota Mahotsav, and even took on a tour of the city, including the Mukundra Sanctuary.
Sawai Madhopur’s Contribution to the Kota Mahotsav
The entire team from Sawai Madhopur unit of HFR attended the Kota Mahotsav and promoted it in their district as well. They encouraged locals from their district to go to the Mahotsav and enjoy Kota’s Chambal riverfronts.
Nirmal Singh Rathore’s contribution to the tourism development of Hadoti was specially appreciated by the federation.
HFR’s Meeting for the Mahotsav Improved Collaboration
During the meeting where Sawai Madhopur promised its support, President Haji Ahtashamuddin urged Ashok Maheshwari, the president of the Kota Division to have the Kota team visit Sawai Madhopur.

The cultural festival contributed to tourism by entertaining tourists and locals alike with celebrity performances like singer Maithili Thakur and Kathak dancer Barkha Joshi. Events like heritage walks, Kachori fest, and shopping bazaar were completely free and hence, were a success at the festival.

The partnership between Kota and Sawai Madhopur is a big step towards combined efforts in promoting Rajasthan’s tourism industry.
The district team was committed to promoting the Kota Mahotsav to tourists visiting Sawai Madhopur. Their efforts to invite visitors to experience the festival in Kota were fruitful.
Investors from Sawai Madhopur showed interest in expanding their investments. These investors already have businesses in hotels in Sawai Madhopur and Chittorgarh, and they expressed their desire to invest in Hadoti as well. The federation promised to provide all necessary support to investors to encourage further tourism growth in Sawai Madhopur.
