Discussion on Various Topics at the Hotel Federation’s Diwali Gathering Ceremony

The Hotel Federation of Rajasthan recently held its Executive Meeting and Diwali Gathering Ceremony at a private hotel. Representatives from across Rajasthan gathered to discuss crucial industry concerns and future plans. 

In this blog, we’ll explore the key discussions and initiatives proposed during this significant gathering. 

Critical Industry Concerns

The meeting focused on several regulatory aspects affecting the hotel industry. Participants discussed issues related to fire licenses, food licenses, groundwater licenses, and municipal licenses. They also deliberated on the upcoming Tourism Policy 2024, which will shape the industry’s future direction. 

Heritage Preservation Initiative

Federation President Hussain Khan raised concerns about the demolition of heritage havelis in the Shekhawati region. He emphasized the urgent need for new government legislation to protect these historical structures.  

The federation also proposed plans to enhance religious and tourist sites in both Shekhawati and Hadoti regions to boost tourism. 

Regional Development Plans

Patron Surendra Singh Shahuraj addressed suggestions from the Kota division officials. He announced plans to create a tourism circuit connecting Jhalawar, Kota, and Sawai Madhopur areas. The federation also aims to streamline safari facilities for tourists visiting Sawai Madhopur, making wildlife tourism more accessible. 

Upcoming Events and Responsibilities

Senior Vice President Ranvijay Singh discussed the federation’s role in major upcoming events. The Hotel Federation will actively participate in the Rising Rajasthan event, Filmfare Awards, and the three-month wedding season.  

Joint Secretary Anshul Sharavgi assured that concerns from the Shekhawati, Kota, and Bikaner divisions would be presented to the government for resolution. 

Wrapping Up

The Hotel Federation’s Diwali gathering brought together key stakeholders to address critical industry issues. With focus on heritage preservation, tourism development, and upcoming events, the federation continues to work towards strengthening Rajasthan’s tourism sector.  

The meeting saw participation from numerous executive members including Treasurer Sandeep Gogia, and executive members Qazi Ahtashamuddin, Bhagwan Sahay Garg, and others, demonstrating the industry’s unified approach to tourism development.
