Criteria​

1. Active Membership

You can become an Active Member of the Hotel Federation of Rajasthan (HFR) if you are:

  • A hotel, resort, or guest house legally registered and operational in Rajasthan, with valid fire, health, pollution, and FSSAI clearances. Star classification certificate required if applicable. Minimum annual turnover of ₹50 lakhs or as determined by the HFR Managing Committee.
  • A licensed restaurant or food service establishment compliant with FSSAI and local municipal regulations, with at least one year of operations.
  • A travel agency or tour operator registered with the Rajasthan Tourism Department or Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. Must show financial soundness and at least one year of continuous operations. Required to have qualified staff and no pending legal or blacklisting issues.
  • An allied business that directly supports the hospitality and tourism sector (event firms, transport providers, tech vendors, consultants, etc.). Must be registered and tax-compliant, with a minimum of one year of operations.
  • An association or educational institution focused on hospitality or tourism training, recognized by relevant authorities and operating for at least two years.

2. Associate Membership

You may apply as an Associate Member if:

  • You are in the tourism trade but fall outside the core hospitality category.
  • You operate a support business, vendor service, or consultancy related to tourism and hospitality in Rajasthan.
  • Your business complies with all statutory registrations and has completed at least one year of active operations.

3. Honorary Membership

HFR may invite individuals or organizations who have significantly contributed to Rajasthan’s hospitality and tourism to become Honorary Members.
This category is granted by nomination and approval of the Managing Committee.

4. Code of Conduct & Compliance

All members must:

  • Adhere to HFR’s code of ethics focusing on guest safety, business integrity, and sustainability.
  • Comply with applicable laws, tourism regulations, and hospitality standards.
  • Participate in training, awareness programs, and advocacy efforts where possible.
  • Represent the industry and HFR in a responsible, professional manner.

5. Special Notes

  • Nominated representatives must be officially designated in writing and approved by HFR.
  • All membership applications are subject to approval and periodic review.
  • Failure to meet the eligibility or compliance standards may result in suspension or termination of membership.
