The Hotel Federation of Rajasthan recently met with Deputy Chief Minister and Tourism Minister Diya Kumari to discuss tourism development in the Hadoti region. The federation presented a comprehensive plan to transform Kota division into a major tourist destination.

These attractions already draw visitors from across India and abroad, showing the region’s tourism potential.
Key Delegation and Discussions

The meeting saw participation from federation president Hussain Khan and Kota Division president Ashok Maheshwari, along with other officials. Kota South MLA Sandeep Sharma joined the discussions about Hadoti’s tourism development.
The delegation requested a special tourism package for Hadoti, similar to other state divisions.
Proposed Development Projects

The federation presented several key development proposals. They suggested establishing a Hotel Management Institute in Kota and completing pending work at Abheda Biological Park.
For Mukundra and Ramgarh sanctuaries, they recommended complete development plans. The delegation also proposed organizing travel fairs and tourism events to promote Hadoti as a tourism circuit.
Infrastructure Enhancement Plans
Here are some key infrastructure enhancements proposed to support this vision:
- Launching Chambal Safari Boating from Chambal Garden
- Developing ghats at Rangpur and Kesoraipatan
- Installing ropeway connectivity across the river
- Creating a handicrafts market for Kota Doria sarees
- Establishing a Stone Park and organizing Stone Mart
- Building a conference hall modeled after Bharat Mandapam
Tourism Promotion Strategies
The federation emphasized promoting new attractions like Riverfront Oxygen Park through social media and integrated marketing. They suggested organizing national and international tourism fairs as part of the Hadoti Festival.
Additionally, they proposed positioning Rajasthan as a destination wedding hub with special incentives for wedding planners.
